Snee Farm real estate is an eclectic mix of condos, townhomes, and single family homes. One of Mt. Pleasant’s most established neighborhoods, Snee Farm has a variety of different home styles and sizes, and many of the homes have large lots of nearly a half acre. The price point in Snee Farm varies as well, depending on the location within the community, square footage, acreage, and upgrades. For golf course condos, prices range from $450,000 to $$750,000. Single family homes range from $750,000 to more than $1 million for a custom estate in the upscale Casseque section. Children residing in Snee Farm attend Mt. Pleasant’s top-rated schools: Jennie Moore Elementary School for Creative Arts, Laing Middle School of Science and Technology, and Lucy Beckham High School.

Interestingly, the original landowner, English settler Nathaniel Law, sold 715 acres of the land to Colonel Charles Pinckney in 1754. One of the country’s founding fathers and signers of the constitution, Pinckney and his family settled on the plantation and harvested rice and indigo there. The Charles Pinckney National Historic Site is open to the public and hosts a variety of educational lectures, children’s programs, and seasonal events.
